👋Hi! I’m Lakshmanan Meiyappan (aka laxmena).

I’m currently a Graduate Student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a focus on Distributed Computing and Software Engineering.

• My 👩‍👦mother taught me to code when I was in 6th grade, I’ve been hooked on programming eversince…
• Before joining my master’s program, I worked for two years as a Member of Technical Staff (👨‍💻Full Stack Software Engineer) at Zoho Corporation.
• I love to read📚. Every once in a while I go on a Reading spree where I just read and do nothing else! I read 12 books in a week during my last marathon!
• I’ve organized 3 🎤TEDx University events. Search for TEDxBITSathy on YouTube!
• I like to ✍️write. I’ve worked as a content writer for a few months in my undergrad, where I wrote scripts for educative animation videos.
• I absolutely love to ✏️sketch! am not pro, but check some of my art here!
